The screens you will open most often — where enquiries land, how to approve comments, and how to change your own password.

Changing your own password

Your login details. Change your password here whenever you need to.

How to change it

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  2. Choose Profile.
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
  4. Click Save. You stay signed in.
Change it the first time you sign in.If you were given a password by whoever built the site, replace it with one only you know.

Enquiries from the contact form

Every message sent through the website contact form is stored here, so nothing is lost if an email goes missing.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → BusinessContacts.
  2. You see every enquiry with the sender’s name, email and the date.
  3. Click a row to read the full message.
  4. Reply from your own email account — the dashboard stores enquiries, it does not send replies.
Check this weekly.Messages arrive here whether or not the notification email reaches you. A quick weekly look means nobody is ignored.

Approving comments on news articles

Comments left by readers, waiting for you to approve or remove before they appear publicly.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → BusinessComments.
  2. Read the comment and see which article it was left on.
  3. Click Approve to publish it, or Delete to remove it.
Nothing appears until you approve it.Comments stay hidden from the public until approved, so check regularly or readers will think their comment vanished.

Notifications

Alerts about new enquiries, sponsor requests and other activity.

How to change it

  1. Click the bell icon in the top bar of the dashboard.
  2. Recent alerts are listed, with unread ones highlighted.
  3. Click View all notifications to see the full history.

Reports and analytics

Figures on visits, events and training — useful for committee meetings and sponsor conversations.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → OverviewReports & Analytics.
  2. Choose the report you want: Engagement, Events or Training.
  3. Adjust the date range if the screen offers one.
Useful for sponsors.Engagement figures give you real numbers to show a prospective sponsor what their money reaches.
