News & Blogs

Write and publish news articles. Also controls the featured stories in the home page top banner.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → Content & Media → News & Blogs.
  2. Click Add New, or Edit on an existing article.
  3. Fill in the title, category, featured image and the article body.
  4. Turn Published on to make it live.
  5. Turn Show in hero on to feature it in the home page top grid, or leave it off for the Latest News band.
  6. Click Save.

Blog Categories

The category labels used to file and filter news articles.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → Content & Media → Blog Categories.
  2. Add or rename a category, then Save. It becomes selectable when writing a post.

Galleries

Photo albums from matches, events and club occasions.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → Content & Media → Galleries.
  2. Click Add New, give the album a title and description.
  3. Upload your photos — resize to about 1600px wide first so pages stay fast.
  4. Click Save.

Videos (YM TV)

Your video library. Videos are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo — you store the link here, not the file.

How to change it

  1. Upload the film to YouTube or Vimeo first.
  2. Sidebar → Content & Media → Videos (YM TV) → Add New.
  3. Paste the video link and add a title, description and thumbnail.
  4. Set the status and click Save.

Announcements

Short notices across the top of the site — a cancelled match, an AGM date, a weather call.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → Content & Media → Announcements.
  2. Add the message, choose a category and an optional banner image.
  3. Set it Active, click Save, and remember to switch it off when it is no longer true.

Advertisements

Sponsor and advertiser banners placed between sections around the site. Views and clicks are counted for you.

How to change it

  1. Sidebar → Content & Media → Advertisements → Add New.
  2. Upload the banner image and set the link it opens.
  3. Choose the Position — this decides where on the site it appears.
  4. Set Active and click Save.
